The honest reason

Most students searching for a preceptor do it the same way: cold-emailing dozens of clinicians, paying $500–$2,000 to opaque placement brokers, or rely on a friend-of-a-friend. Most preceptors who'd happily mentor a student have no good way to signal that they're available. And most clinical sites have onboarding requirements that students don't discover until week three.

We wanted the cleanest possible bridge between those three groups: a directory where the price is one number, the listings are written by humans, and the credentials are checked by a real person.

A three-sided directory, not a brokerage

ClinicalVillage isn't a placement agency. We don't take a cut of placements, we don't act as a middleman, and we don't sit between you and the person you're trying to reach. Students subscribe for $29 a month, see the directory, and message preceptors and host sites directly. That's the whole arrangement.

Preceptors and clinical sites list for free — they pay nothing, ever. We make our living from a single, honest membership.

Real people check real credentials

Every preceptor uploads their license, and a member of our team manually verifies it before the verified badge appears on their profile. It's slower than automation, but more reliable — and it's the reason ClinicalVillage is the kind of directory both students and licensing boards take seriously.
